Serenity's Dream joins the Ocean Beauty Yacht and the Trimaran Merihobus in Ugears' fleet of DIY model sailing vessels, however, unlike those static models, Serenity's Dream is a spring-powered wind-up craft able to execute a series of tacking maneuvers for up to 4m across a flat surface. To operate, set the Start/Stop switch, located on the roof of the cabin, to the "Stop" position. Remove the winding key from the foredeck, insert it into the ratchet mechanism located on the starboard hull and give several twists. Replace the winding key in the deck, place the boat on a flat surface, flip the Start/Stop switch to the "Start" position, and watch as your yacht sails off, executing a set of graceful, zig-zagging tacking maneuvers.

You'll love the realistic details throughout this DIY wooden sailboat model, including two rigged paper sails—a mainsail and a jib headsail—with roller furling so you can furl and unfurl the sails with a simple twist. Check out the sleek cabin, stanchions and rope railing lining the deck, two helms for steering from the high side, retractable anchor, laser engraved planks on the foredeck, and reverse raked transom with engraved Ugears logo.

As with other Ugears mechanical marvels, you won't need glue or special tools to build this beauty, just punch the laser pre-cut pieces out of the art-quality composite wood boards, and snap them together. Illustrated instructions in 11 languages (English, German, Ukrainian, French, Polish, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Korean) guide your assembly, and each kit contains a piece of sandpaper and wax to smooth and lubricate the moving parts.

Stock / Delivery Time

Each product indicates whether it is in stock. If you are planning to visit the store to purchase a specific item, and it shows that we only have a few items in stock, we recommend that you place an order in our webshop and choose the delivery option "Pick up in store". We will then reserve the products for you and send you a confirmation email when your order is ready for collection.

Shipping Methods and Costs

Packages are normally shipped with DB Schenker and delivered to a collection point. If, for logistical reasons, the shipment cannot be sent to a collection point, we will contact you to find a suitable delivery method.

You can order as much as you like – the shipping cost is only SEK 79 per order! For very bulky products, actual shipping costs may apply. We will always contact you if the shipping cost exceeds SEK 79.

We are happy to deliver to other countries, but shipping costs may vary. Please contact us for a shipping quote.

Right of Withdrawal

If you purchase an item by mail order, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days. Once you have returned the item, we will refund the amount you paid for it. If you paid by card, it may take a few banking days for the money to appear in your account. Return shipping is paid by you, and the item must be sent to our address, not to a collection point.
As a buyer, you have the right to carefully inspect the item, but it must be returned in essentially unchanged condition. You may not use or test the item.

Please note: 
• The item must be complete and returned in its original packaging in essentially unchanged condition. 
• The item must not be used or tested.
• The return form below must be completed and included together with the receipt/invoice.
• If the item contains multiple packages with accessories/parts, these must not be opened.

Uncollected Shipments

For packages that cannot be delivered or are not collected from the specified collection point, we will charge a fee of at least SEK 250. If our actual costs are higher, those costs will be charged.

Age Requirement

To place an order in our online store, you must be at least 18 years old. You must therefore always provide your personal identity number when placing an order. If you are under 18, a guardian must approve your order and provide their personal identity number.
