Learn how the COUNTER works:
The Counter is a stylized educational model, an interactive study guide to the mechanism, only for learning its essentials and principles of working. It registers repetitive actions. It is an integral part of a device called an “Odometer”. The model has three cylinder gears with numbers from 0 to 9 and a Geneva Drive. This combination allows you to see an interesting mechanical feature: when the reciprocating motion of the click-button using the Geneva Drive mechanism turns into the rotary motion of the cylinder gears with numbers.The Counter provides two options of data registering: click-button on the roof of its body, and a turn handle on its side. Pressing the click-button or turning the handle makes the Counter shift by one place. When the count passes 9, the Geneva Drive catches the next register cylinder and adds it to the count. Altogether, the three-digit display of the Counter can register values from 1 to 999. You can open the front panel of the counter and reset it manually. Try counting steps on your way home. Or how many people you meet on a stroll through the park. How about, the number of blue cars passing by your house during one hour? Count stairs at home, at school or at a friend’s house.

When and who invented it:
A counter, as a key part of odometer mechanism, was invented by an Ancient Greek mathematician and engineer Hero of Alexandria who lived in 10-70 AD. It measured the length of the path by counting the number of rotations of the wheel. Later, the counter was improved and completed with a reducer that reduced the number of the wheel's revolutions depending on the measuring system (miles, leagues, kilometers) and showed reduced data on the display.

Usage:
These days, counters are used to count the number of passengers, visitors of different events, cars passing through certain check point, sets and scores in sport, items on a production line, etc.

If you are planning to visit the store to purchase a specific item, and it shows that we only have a few items in stock, we recommend that you place an order in our webshop and choose the delivery option "Pick up in store". We will then reserve the products for you and send you a confirmation email when your order is ready for collection.

Shipping Methods and Costs

Packages are normally shipped with DB Schenker and delivered to a collection point. If, for logistical reasons, the shipment cannot be sent to a collection point, we will contact you to find a suitable delivery method.

You can order as much as you like – the shipping cost is only SEK 79 per order! For very bulky products, actual shipping costs may apply. We will always contact you if the shipping cost exceeds SEK 79.

Right of Withdrawal

If you purchase an item by mail order, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days. Once you have returned the item, we will refund the amount you paid for it. If you paid by card, it may take a few banking days for the money to appear in your account. Return shipping is paid by you, and the item must be sent to our address, not to a collection point.
As a buyer, you have the right to carefully inspect the item, but it must be returned in essentially unchanged condition. You may not use or test the item.

• The item must be complete and returned in its original packaging in essentially unchanged condition. 
• The item must not be used or tested.
• The return form below must be completed and included together with the receipt/invoice.
• If the item contains multiple packages with accessories/parts, these must not be opened.

Uncollected Shipments

For packages that cannot be delivered or are not collected from the specified collection point, we will charge a fee of at least SEK 250. If our actual costs are higher, those costs will be charged.

Age Requirement

To place an order in our online store, you must be at least 18 years old. You must therefore always provide your personal identity number when placing an order. If you are under 18, a guardian must approve your order and provide their personal identity number.
