World-class quality and uniqueness!
Despite its small size and population, Sweden has been developing an independent, advanced arms industry for decades. Its companies, such as Saab and Hägglunds, create modern aircraft and vehicles that effectively compete with the products of the Western and Eastern powers.

This equipment is distinguished not only by its quality, but also by its unique appearance and technical solutions, emphasizing Swedish independence and engineering originality. This approach builds an image of Sweden as a country that creates military equipment with a distinct identity and high effectiveness.
The Viggen enters service!
The Viggen was designed in Sweden in the 1960s as a modern multi-role jet aircraft. It is characterized by a "canard" configuration, with double wings, which gives it a recognizable appearance. In 1970, the AJ 37 version (fighter-attack) entered service, and later other versions were also created: training, naval, reconnaissance and fighter versions.
In the 1990s, the most modern version of the Viggen fighter jet was created: the AJS37. The abbreviation AJS comes from the Swedish words Attack, Jakt, and Spaning (attack, air combat, reconnaissance), reflecting the three main roles of this version.
AJS37 aircraft were modernized to carry new weapons, including cluster bombs and the Rb 15F anti-ship missile. Their air combat capabilities were also increased, allowing them to carry up to six Sidewinder missiles.
Collaboration with the Flygvapen Museum
The aircraft that served as the model for the COBI model is located at the Flygvapenmuseum in Linköping, the Swedish Air Force Museum. The ghost symbol visible on the model is the emblem of the Johan Röd (Red John) squadron of the Swedish Air Force, which operated Viggen fighter jets. The symbol depicts a white ghost, and the squadron's motto: "The Show Must Go On," also often appeared on their aircraft.

Key features of the Saab AJS37 Viggen set:
Uniqueness in the collection - this model aircraft made of building blocks stands out with its unusual silhouette, faithfully reproduced based on the original Viggen. It's an ideal item for building block collectors and military aviation enthusiasts.
Licensed by the Flygvapen Museum - The model was created under the original license of the Swedish museum, guaranteeing a faithful reproduction of the fighter jet.
911 blocks - The set contains high-quality elements that allow for a precise reproduction of the Viggen's "canard" design, from the characteristic wings and cockpit equipment to realistic armament.

Simplified pilot figure - The set includes a simplified pilot figure in a helmet with an oxygen mask. It fits perfectly into the cockpit and wonderfully complements the model.
1:48 scale – This collector's scale makes the model look great on a shelf or in a diorama. It's the optimal balance between compact size and richness of detail.

Durable prints and no stickers! - All markings are durable, elegant, abrasion-resistant prints depicting authentic Swedish Air Force markings.
Movable elements and armament - The model has movable ailerons, wheels and an opening, detailed cockpit. These elements increase the interactivity of the model, allowing you to recreate fighter maneuvers, which adds dynamism and makes it more "alive". The set includes two detailed Bombkapsel 90 cluster bomb containers, containing 72 charges.

Clear instructions - Build your model step by step with intuitive instructions – even if you are a beginner in the world of construction. Perfect as a building block set for adults and teenagers.
Stable display stand - The model can be displayed on a double, movable stand, which includes a collector's plaque with the aircraft's name, scale and the Swedish flag, which is an ideal addition for displaying the collection.

Fun and decoration in one - Once assembled, the model transforms into an impressive decorative element, great for an office, room or shelf of an aviation and building block enthusiast.
