Produced and continuously improved in the years 1949-1990, the Citroen 2CV has become an icon of the French automotive industry. The car was designed before WWII. Its creation is associated with the need to produce a simple and cheap car for the masses, in line with the slogan of the company director Pierre Boulanger, "quatre roues sous un parapluie" (four wheels under an umbrella). The car was simple, economical and allowed for the comfortable transport of 4 people with luggage.

Baptized as the ugliest car in the world at the Paris Salon in 1948, it became an object of desire, contrary to the critics' opinions. During its 41 years of production, nearly 4 million cars were produced in factories around the world. Today, this car holds an almost cult status and is prized by collectors. The Charleston, having been presented in October 1980 as a one-season "special edition" was incorporated into the regular range in July 1981 in response to its extraordinary success. By changing the carburetor to achieve 29 hp (22 kW), a top speed of 115 km/h (71 mph) was achieved. Other changes were a new rear-view mirror and inboard disc brakes at the front wheels.
Using 85 COBI construction bricks, you can build a model of the Citroen 2CV Charleston which is impeccably reproduced in 1:35 scale. Thanks to the use of elements specially designed for this car, the shape of the body is as close to the original as possible. The car is equipped with 4 movable wheels and printed key details. The Citroen is 11 cm long and 4.5 cm high. The kit includes a plate with the signature of the model and the CITROEN logo of the time. The printed license plates also show the model’s name. The Cobi Youngtimer Collection and the Historical Collection feature vintage cars from major automotive brands. All cars are designed in a 1:35 scale model and represent a vast collection ideal for children, adolescents and adults who are passionate about history and the automotive industry.

Shipping Methods and Costs
Packages are normally shipped with DB Schenker and delivered to a collection point. If, for logistical reasons, the shipment cannot be sent to a collection point, we will contact you to find a suitable delivery method.
You can order as much as you like – the shipping cost is only SEK 79 per order! For very bulky products, actual shipping costs may apply. We will always contact you if the shipping cost exceeds SEK 79.

Right of Withdrawal
If you purchase an item by mail order, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days. Once you have returned the item, we will refund the amount you paid for it. If you paid by card, it may take a few banking days for the money to appear in your account. Return shipping is paid by you, and the item must be sent to our address, not to a collection point.
As a buyer, you have the right to carefully inspect the item, but it must be returned in essentially unchanged condition. You may not use or test the item.

Uncollected Shipments
For packages that cannot be delivered or are not collected from the specified collection point, we will charge a fee of at least SEK 250. If our actual costs are higher, those costs will be charged.
