Shopping

Shopping in our online store is easy. When you find an item you want, add it to your cart. When you are satisfied, click on the cart to enter your details and place your order.

If you are an existing customer, log in with your credentials and complete your purchase.

Delivery Time

Your order is normally shipped the same day or at the latest one business day after your order is placed.

 

Stock / Delivery Time

Each item shows an estimated delivery time. If the delivery time is longer than estimated, we will contact you with updated information.

 

Delivery Methods and Shipping Cost

Parcel deliveries are normally handled by DHL and are sent to a pickup point. If, for transport-related reasons, the shipment cannot be sent to a pickup point, we will contact you to find a suitable delivery method.

You can order as much as you like – we always keep shipping costs as low as possible! If your order is over 500 SEK, it will be shipped free of charge!

Delivery to Other Countries

We are happy to deliver to other countries, but shipping costs vary. Therefore, please contact us for a shipping cost quote.

 

If an Item Is Out of Stock

Each item displays its stock status. If an item you have ordered is out of stock, a partial delivery will be made. No backorders are placed. You can always check on our website if the item is back in stock and then place a new order.

Naturally, you never have to pay for anything that we do not deliver.

 

Delivery Confirmation and Tracking

When your package is ready, an email with a tracking number for the shipment will be sent. You can then visit www.dhlpaket.se to see where your package is located. If you have provided a valid mobile number, an SMS notification will be sent when the package is ready for pickup. Please note that you must bring valid ID and present your SMS to collect the package.

 

Prices

All prices are stated including Swedish VAT (currently 25%). We reserve the right for any price changes and for incorrect information caused by technical or human errors.

 

Obvious Pricing Errors

Hobbymagasinet AB reserves the right to cancel orders in the event of an "obvious" pricing error. An obvious pricing error is defined as a price that significantly differs from the expected actual price of the product. In such cases, the discrepancy is so large that the customer should reasonably understand that the price is incorrect.

 

Fuel Shipping

Fuel is classified as Dangerous Goods, which means it is complicated and costly to ship. If you still want us to ship fuel to you, we are happy to do so, but please note the following:

- You may be required to collect your package at the carrier’s terminal

- A Dangerous Goods shipping fee will be added when you complete your order.

- This Dangerous Goods surcharge applies for up to 5 liters. If you wish to order larger quantities, please contact us for a quote.

 

Payment

Payment can be made via bank/credit card, direct payment, invoice, or installment payment. We use Kustom Checkout for all transactions with SSL and maximum security. No invoice fees or other payment fees are added at checkout when using Kustom Checkout with us. You can also choose to pay in 2 months for a cost of only 39 SEK. Read more about this under Kustom’s payment terms below.

Uncollected / Unclaimed Packages

For packages that cannot be delivered or are not collected at the designated pickup point, we will charge a fee of at least 255 SEK. If our costs are higher, those costs will be charged.

 

Age Limit

To place an order in our online store, you must be at least 18 years old. You must therefore always provide your personal identification number when ordering. If you are under 18, a guardian must approve your order and provide their personal identification number.

There is no age limit for shopping in our physical store.

 

Right of Withdrawal (Online Store)

If you purchase an item via mail order, you have a right of withdrawal according to the Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act, allowing you to cancel your purchase within 14 days. After you have returned the item at your own expense, we will refund the amount you paid for the item. We do not refund shipping costs or other fees. (If you paid by card, it may take a few banking days before the money appears in your account).

The withdrawal period begins on the day you receive the item. As a buyer, you have the right to carefully inspect the item, but it must remain in essentially unchanged condition. However, you may not use/test the item.

 

Conditions apply as follows:

• The item must be complete in its original packaging, returned in essentially unchanged condition.

• The item must not be used/tested.

• The return form below must be completed and enclosed together with the receipt/invoice.

• If the item contains multiple packages with accessories/parts, these must not be opened.

 

The right of withdrawal does not apply to

• Glue, oils, or paint that have been opened.

• Software where the seal has been broken.

 

Please pack the item well, as you as the customer are responsible for both the risk and the cost of return shipping. Always use our return form when returning an item.

 

Always keep the receipt from the postal service or other shipping provider in case the shipment is lost in transit.

We do not collect parcels sent to us cash on delivery.

Returns must be sent so that they are delivered directly to us (not to a service point).

A return cost "Re-Stock" fee of at least 125 SEK will be deducted. 

Return Notification

Before making a return or exchange, you must always submit a notification online with us. Email us at info@hobbymagasinet.se and we will inform you of the return address to use.

 

Transport Risk

Hobbymagasinet AB is not responsible for transport damage. All transport damage must be reported to the carrier. Carefully check that the delivery is undamaged when you receive it. Any damage must be noted on the waybill/receipt that you sign.

Visible damage to the shipment is considered transport damage. Make sure to report it immediately. Keep all documentation regarding your delivery to facilitate the claim process.

The claim must be made within 7 days after receipt for the right to complain to apply. A new item will be sent when the carrier has accepted responsibility or by agreement with the customer.

 

Right of Complaint

In Sweden, consumers have a statutory right to complain for three years. This is the period during which you can report a defect that existed at the time of delivery (an original defect). If your product has such a defect, we will replace it with a repaired or new product.

Please note that there is no "guarantee" that a car will withstand a collision or that an aircraft will not break if it lands hard or crashes.

Of course, we are happy to help you with parts and repairs if your model is damaged, but this is not covered by the right of complaint.

All models we sell include a detailed instruction manual, in many cases in Swedish. If it is important to you that the manual is in Swedish, please check before purchasing that your chosen model includes a Swedish manual. If not, a detailed manual in English will be included.

Repair Terms

For products sent for repair, the normal service time is 1–4 weeks, depending on the product and workload of our service department.

 

• Inspection fees

If the fault in the submitted product is not considered a warranty issue, a cost estimate will normally be sent to you. Repair costs are 295 SEK per started half hour plus any spare parts.

If you request return without repair, an inspection fee plus return shipping will be charged. The inspection fee is 295 SEK per started half hour.

 

• Hobbymagasinet’s responsibility for submitted products

Hobbymagasinet AB is responsible for submitted products for 2 months after the customer has been notified of a cost estimate or another request where Hobbymagasinet requires a response to proceed with the repair. If no response is received within 2 months, we assume that you no longer want the product, and it may be sent for recycling.
